Servile is a meek shepherd living in Vesper during Ultima IV.
Description[edit]
Sequestered within a hidden passage in The Guild Shop, Servile could tell the Stranger of the Skull of Mondain, warning the hero that it was an evil artifact and that there could be no justification for its use.[1]
Trivia[edit]
- In the Nintendo remake of Ultima IV (where most character names were omitted and dialogue was significantly modified), Servile can be identified with the shepherd in the same secret passage. She gives the information about the use of the Silver Horn previously provided by the skeleton Banter in the Magincian ruins.[2]
- In the alleged journal of the Avatar discovered by historians Robert de Main and Carlotta Stein, the hero notes that Servile was helpful but refrains from mentioning his location, claiming to have sworn to keep it secret.[3]
