Sailor Sam is an ugly sailor who could be found in Trinsic during the time of Ultima IV.
Description[edit]
Loitering around the shop known as Duelling Weapons, Sailor Sam was glad to boast of his life on the Britannian seas and would mention his specialty in navigation. Should the Stranger confess to being less than an expert at helmsmanship, Sam would recommend that the adventurer invest in a sextant, and would mention that the barkeep in Jhelom may be aware of how to acquire such a device.[1]

NES remake
- In the Nintendo remake of Ultima IV, Sailor Sam may be found at The Keg Tap. He seems quite enamored of sextants, claiming the Stranger's purpose in life to be fulfilled if claiming to own one.[2]
