Renayl is the provisioner at The Flint and Lock in Yew in Ultima V: Lazarus.
Renayl was a clever and shrewd businesswoman who made her business through selling supplies to the local foresters and trappers. She claimed to be happy with the new regime because she had not been cheated or swindled since Blackthorn’s harsh new laws had been enacted. Renayl also shared her passion for cartography with the Avatar, telling how Lord British had commissioned a great map of Britannia, which the lord would then add all the mantras and Words of Power to. She was upset with the loss of her benefactor, but still wished to complete the map, paying the Avatar 50 gp for any mantra provided.[1]
Always on the lookout for new ways to make profit, she had turned informant for Blackthorn's regime, with Duclas saying she frequently visited The Slaughtered Lamb, offering to pay for information on the comings and going of the tavern's visitors.[2]
Every mantra the Avatar supplied would lead to that shrine's destruction, requiring the appropriate Word of Power to purify it again.
