Michaelangelo is a skilled ranger living in Skara Brae during Ultima IV.
Description[edit]
The Stranger could meet Michaelangelo inside of the local grocery, Food for Thought. The forester would explain to the hero, if asked, that he strove ever onward on his path, and would advise the hero to embrace the journey of success and always to desire more than what one can accomplish.[1]
Trivia[edit]
- Michaelangelo is named for the Italian Renaissance artist Michelangelo di Lodovico Buonarroti Simoni. The quote "I hope that I may always desire more than I can accomplish" is often attributed to Buonarroti, and he is historically characterized as a melancholic and eccentric personality, always striving to greater heights in his art.
- In the Nintendo remake of Ultima IV (Japanese original), either Michaelangelo or Santayana can be identified as a bard in the same location. This character was removed in the English localization.
