James is a blacksmith at Death Watch Armory in Minoc in Ultima VI.
Description[edit]
James explained to the Avatar that he was merely an apprentice blacksmith, and that his master had gone off to fight the Gargoyles, but had not returned. James was happy to sell the Avatar some of the wares from his master's large stock.[1]

In The Ultima 6 Project, James told the hero his master's name was Zander, and that his skills as a blacksmith probably kept him in high demand in Lord British's army.
