Inoo is a gypsy drabarni living in Moonglow during Ultima IV.
Description[edit]
An archetypal gypsy fortuneteller, Inoo was well versed in the art of palmistry, and offered to read the Stranger's fortunes. Should the hero agree to the reading, the old woman would predict that a great quest would lead the hero into the Abyss where the Codex of Ultimate Wisdom awaited.[1]
Trivia[edit]
- Palmistry, like many forms of divination, generally does not allow for such exact predictions as Inoo gives. This method of fortune-telling via lines and "mounts" often gives vague indications of major life events and personal attributes, with the diviner filling in the blanks as might fit the client.
- In the Nintendo remake of Ultima IV (where most character names were omitted and dialogue was significantly modified), Inoo can be easily identified as the old woman in the same location, who gives the same information.[2]
