Flatbush is a young man who may be found in Vesper during Ultima IV.
Description[edit]
A slender youth, Flatbush claimed to be the favored apprentice of the Yewen mage, Calumny, whom he would reveal knew the Quickness spell. Should the Stranger indicate travel in the direction of Yew, the enthusiastic student would recommend seeking out his master.[1]
Trivia[edit]
- In the Nintendo port of Ultima IV (where most names were omitted and dialogues significantly modified), Flatbush can be identified with the black mage in the south portion of town. Instead of directing the Stranger to his master, he reveals the recipe for the Destroy (Kill) spell, thus showing his progress in the apprenticeship.[2]
