Finster was an ambitious politician who ran afoul of the Fellowship.
Description[edit]
Four years prior to Ultima VII, Finster was a rising politician in Britain, who was very outspoken about social change, such as giving more power to the Great Council. He also was set against the Fellowship and wanted to disband it, probably having started to understand the problem it was. When he ran for public office, the Fellowship saw the threat he could become and sent Hook and Forskis - perhaps on Batlin's personal command - to get rid of the man.
They brutally murdered Finster in an abandoned storehouse and the carnage was so memorable, that Finnigan remembered it years later and could relate it to the Avatar, who in turn could get more information from Lord British and mayor Patterson about the case.[1][2]
Trivia[edit]
