Etoile is a character unique to the Super Nintendo-port of Ultima VII, where he may be found loitering about the Artisan's Guild of Minoc.
Description[edit]
Etoile was a puzzling conversationalist and would repeatedly ask the Avatar to ask him about various popular topics, such as the recent kidnappings of Frederico and Tania; the monument being built to Owen; and the Fellowship. Should the hero inquire after any of these things, however, Etoile would admit he knew little about them or would appear disinterested in speaking of them.[1]

Etoile's name is French for "star".
