Dwp is a druid living in Yew during Ultima IV.
Description[edit]
When approached by the Stranger, Dwp would welcome the hero to Yew, saying that it was a fair city. He would also hint at the fact that Justice derives from the principles of Truth and Love ("understanding").[1]
Trivia[edit]
- In the document discovered by historians Robert De Main and Carlotta Stein that purports to be the Avatar's personal diary, Dwp is described as a short man, clad in a belted sage green tunic and carrying a wooden staff. The (then) Stranger reports being somewhat baffled by his name, wondering if the druid had "ever heard of vowels."[2]
- In the Nintendo remake of Ultima IV (where most character names were omitted and dialogue was significantly modified), Dwp can be identified as the druid in the same location, who similarly welcomes the Stranger to town.[3]
