Donal was a Serpent Islander who ran the Inn of the Sleeping Bull after it was established by his father, Silverpate. He is only mentioned.
Description[edit]
Donal inherited the Sleeping Bull from his father, who had opened the inn following his retirement from life as a pirate. A man with a level-headed temperament decidedly different from Silverpate's, Donal was responsible for the hire of a young cook named Devra, who eventually married his son, Angus.[1] Unlike his infamous father or his ill-fated descendants, little is ultimately known about Donal, and he appears to have been long dead at the time of the Avatar's arrival on Serpent Isle.
