Dale is a glassblower in Minoc in Ultima VI.
Description[edit]
Dale was a proud craftsman who supplied all of Britannia with glassware, and was eager to sell the Avatar mirrors and basic glass objects. Dale was also the only person in Britannia at that time capable of manufacturing glass swords, and if the Avatar gave him five peer gems, he would manufacture a sword of truly formidable power.[1]
Dale explained to the Avatar that even though he could blow glass, he was not a lensmaker, and directed the Avatar to Ephemerides at the Lycaeum for such needs.
Lore[edit]
“ | The glassblower, the clockmaker, the basket weaver, they all go to Selganor for guidance, and I must admit I’ve picked up a tip or two from the man myself. Absent-minded he may be, but he knows how to coax magic out of a lute. – from The Book of Prophecy (Ultima VI)
