Crystal Rose of Love
Like the Candle of Love in Britannia, the Crystal Rose is the embodiment of the Principle of Love on the Serpent Isle. It appears in Ultima Part Two.
Description[edit]
Only very little is known about the history of this clearly magical item. The Rose somehow came into possession of Lady Yelinda of Fawn, the nominal ruler of the city. She gave it to the Avatar after the hero had successfully proven that the Oracle of Fawn was being controlled by a third party, namely Voldin and Kylista. The Crystal Rose of Love was needed along with the Mirror of Truth and Helm of Courage in order to defeat Rabindrinath in the Dream World surrounding Gorlab Swamp. It caused his second lethal spell to fizzle out, causing him to flee deeper into his dream fortress. It became useless once the madman was defeated.

Trivia[edit]
- According to the original design documents for Serpent Isle, the Crystal Rose would have found one more use with the Automaton Petra, being the only way to convince her to do the mind-swap tactic.
