Cory is the cook found in the downstairs kitchen at Empath Abbey in Ultima V.

When speaking with her, the Avatar learned that her "Shark Delicacy" was known throughout the land. The party would delight in the samples she provided them and they could always go back for more free of charge.[1]

In Ultima V: Lazarus, Cory readily talks about her affection towards the members of Empathy Abbey, and her fear that Lord Blackthorn may someday attack her home.[2]
The young bard Tim was quite in love with the cook,[3] but was too afraid to approach her with his affections, believing Cory to be in love with the monk Sarth. Should the Avatar discover that Sarth had no interest in the young chef,[4] Tim would gain the strength to begin pursuing Cory.
