This article is about the character from the SNES-port of Ultima VII. For the Ultima VII Part Two character, see Caladin.
Caladin is a character unique to the Super Nintendo-port of Ultima VII, where he is an inhabitant of New Magincia who may be found at the Modest Damsel.
Description[edit]
Caladin would initially introduce himself as the "finest man in New Magincia," putting himself somewhat at odds with spirit of the city of Humility. Speaking to him further, however, the Avatar would learn that he was a simple man who merely enjoyed watching the ships go by, having been a sailor in days bygone. Should the hero encounter the man's wife, Kerowyn, it would be revealed that she objected to his carousing at the inn, and speaking to him of her would reveal that he felt somewhat overwhelmed by her concerns.[1]

- Caladin's portrait is identical to that of Dustin from the PC version of Ultima VII.
