Blackthorn is a cybernetic construct, composed of the former Britannian nobleman and the most terrifying of the Technocrat technology. Known as The Techno-Prophet, Blackthorn has led the Logosian army to war against both the Meer and the Britannians.
History[edit]
Prior to becoming a Technocrat cyborg, Blackthorn was a friend (and at times opponent) of Lord British. Blackthorn became convinced that British's plans to reunite the shards of Britannia would fail.
To the disgust of his contemporaries, Blackthorn wielded the unholy blade known as Shadowghast.
Blackthorn attempted to stop the Ritual of Binding, which was designed to combine all of the various "shades" of Britannia together. Instead, only three meshed, the ancient Meer continent of Avenosh, the far-distant Jukan continent that housed Jukarun and Logosia, and the remains of Britannia. The spell was incorrectly cast, resulting in a cataclysm which threw these three worlds together in unexpected ways. Blackthorn was brought to Logos by the assassin, Exedur, where he is "saved" from death.
