Beynard is a character unique to the Super Nintendo-port of Ultima VII, where he can be found watching over the docks of Skara Brae.
Description[edit]
A skeletal figure who stood forever looking toward the sea, Beynard would relate to the Avatar how Skara Brae had fallen under the evil magicks of the liche Rudolfo. He would plead with the hero to help drive the foul revenant from their shores, suggesting seeking the aid of the seer, Mordra in working a means for his defeat.[1]
Trivia[edit]
- Beynard is the only ghost in Skara Brae that will speak to the Avatar before Mordra casts the Shade Speak spell upon them.
- Beynards' portrait is identical to that of the Ferryman from the PC version of Ultima VII.
