The ant queen can be found in the ant mound in Ultima VI. As one would expect from a mother in the animal world, she can be a dangerous foe if provoked, fiercely defending her nest.
Description[edit]
Located deep beneath the Drylands, the ant queen ruled over her numerous brood. While not evil, she would fiercely attack any intruder with her massive mandibles. Among some small caves behind her lay the body of Ol' Hawknose and a piece of the treasure map of Hawkins. Destroying the queen would earn the hero a loss of karma.

The Avatar's companions would ask the hero to spare the massive insect, for with her destruction, her entire species would come to an end.
