Algar is a greedy man found in Minoc during Ultima IX.

Algar demanded 20 gold pieces from the Avatar for every bit of information, regardless of how trivial. He was willing to answer a variety of questions such as those about the gypsies, Covetous, and the human sacrifices authorized by Raxos, though much of this information could be gleaned for free through exploration or from other characters. After the shrine was cleansed, he became dismissive of the Avatar.[1]
