Algar is a greedy man found in Minoc during Ultima IX.

Algar demanded 20 gold pieces from the Avatar for every bit of information, regardless how trivial. He was willing to answer questions about the gypsies, Covetous, and the human sacrifices authorized by Raxos, though all of the information could also be found without cost somewhere else. After the shrine was restored, he became dismissive of the Avatar.[1]
