Aleena is the curator of the Royal Museum during Ultima IX.

Description[edit]

Aleena would gladly inform the Avatar about the various exhibits in the museum, explaining in particular the significance of the prominent Tapestry of Ages. She would further mention that the eight runes of virtue had been stolen from their display cases some twenty years prior, around the time that the columns rose from the earth. If pressed, Aleena would go on to voice her fear that the stolen runes were in some way being misused, as the magic in them could be potentially perverted to run contrary to the virtues they originally represented. She exhorted the Avatar to consult Sarah, the keeper of the Shrine of Compassion, for more information on the topic

If asked about the situation in the surrounding city, Aleena would note that Mayor Aidon's harsh edicts had caused Britain's poor and sick to be removed to Paws, and would go on to tell how she had been separated from her husband when he was exiled on account of his blindness. The Avatar would eventually cleanse the nearby shrine and restore Aidon to the path of virtue, but these events did little to assist Aleena in her plight, as she later learned that her husband had been struck dead by a passing cart before he could be returned to Britain.[1]
