"What brings you to Minoc, Stranger?"

"I'm looking for a great blacksmith."

"Look no further! In my day I have forged everything from horseshoes to mystic armor!"

"What about Wedding Rings?"

"Hmm, a Wedding ring. Been a while since I've done one of those. Not my specialty I'm afraid, but I'm the best one you'll find for the job. Got any means of paying me?"

"Not really, can I do anything else?"

"Well seeing as you're getting married, I think I can do this one for free. Minoc is the city of Sacrifice after all. But, you'll have to answer a riddle. Standard operating procedure I'm afraid."

"Why do I need to answer a riddle?" (Story)

"Listen here, Stranger. I'm making a sacrifice by giving you a golden ring for free. You're on a quest right? Shouldn't you be used to this sort of thing?"

"A riddle for a ring? Sounds fair enough." (Advanced Quest) or "I suppose you are right."

"Fantastic! Are you ready?"

"I'm ready."

"I'm rather quiet until guests arrive. Guests bring tools to protect themselves and at times leave them behind. Guests often slumber peacefully and are never stirred. I'm green or brown, but sometimes red. What am I?"

"Autumn." or "A battlefield." or "An inn." or "Farewell." (Unknown which was selected.)

"I'll give you that, Stranger. At any rate I'll just make your ring."

"Great!"

[Zircon works the forge and hands you a brightly polished golden ring.] "Not a bad job, it still needs a Gemstone to truly consider it finished. I'll hang onto it until you've found one."

"Where can I find a Gemstone?" (Advance Quest)

"That adventurer, Neil, over in Trinsic is always coming up with loads of treasure from his travels. He also owes me a favor since I forged him a shield for answering a riddle."

I'll start there. Wait, does that mean I owe you too?"

[Zircon smiles.] "Off you go then. Wouldn't want someone to snag it before you get to him. Come back when you get it and I'll set it for you."
