Talk:Quests

What is important info when it comes to Quests? Stuff that should be displayed in the infobox? Stuff that should be displayed on the main page? As I can't play the game yet it is hard for me to get a feel for it. From other wikis here are my ideas;

Infobox

• Quest name
• Location(Dungeon?) Name
• Given By
• Quest chain info - name of chain, previous quest, next quest (I seem to remember quest chains in my limited experience with the game...)
• Maps
• Level? Other prerequisites?
• Type (Main Quest or Subquest)?

Page

• Description
• Objectives/Background
• Reward
• Related NPCs
• Dialogue?
• Walkthrough

• Whether it is repeatable or not; it looks like the main quests are not repeatable, but those given for specific locations are.
• Split the Location by where obtained (usually a city) and related area (usually a dungeon).
• Rewards will usually be in Reputation, Virtue, and possibly Keys.
• As far as prerequisites, so far it is just level range; one of the loading screens says reputation will open new quests, but I haven't seen any evidence of that so far.
• There are quest chains; they are all listed on the "Avatar Quests" page, rather than the generic "Quests" page; we should probably distinguish which ones are which.

Most Viewed Page

This is one of our most viewed pages so I feel it could use some snazzing up. For starters it doesn't seem to even list all the quests I see in Category:Quests. Since I don't have access to the game I'm not sure what it needs from a user's point of view. What would be useful info to have on this page? -- Fenyx4 19:06, 5 February 2014 (UTC)

It looks like this page and Side Quests are basically the same. I think we should update this page to describe the quest system, the main questline (aka Avatar Quests), then the Side Quests, and then provide additional links to the Reputation Quests and Collection Quests to easily find what they are looking for. The other pages need some love as well, but I just havn't had the time to get back to them. Sorry! I'll see what I can do this weekend. --Browncoat Jayson (talk) 22:23, 7 February 2014 (UTC)
