Why link back to same article?[edit]
I'm not sure why we have ladders linking back to the article in which they appear, with code like "rect 48 112 64 128 [[Shame (Ultima IV)|U4-Shame-L2]]". Is the purpose to label the ladder? If so, I don't see that as necessary, unless there are ladders that skip floors. But AFAIK, all up ladders bring you to (current floor) - 1 and all down ladders go to (current floor) + 1. But linking back to the same article is likely to be irksome; sending users to the top of the article they are already viewing.--The Ultra-Mind (talk) 20:03, 15 July 2021 (UTC)
