Runes were in Ultima III too.
History of the alphabet[edit]
Can someone confirm my impression of the alphabet, that it only changed once, which was in between U4 and U5 (despite the fact that the glyphs changed frequently, even between the manuals and the games!) Yes, I'm also aware that OSI never provided a runic guide until U4, making the alphabet incomplete until then. The Ultra-Mind (talk) 18:53, 27 March 2017 (MDT)
