Two guards named Jon stood watch over the throne room of the Lycaeum during Ultima IV.

The two brawny Jons oversaw the Thrones of Truth from which Robert and Beth Frasier presided over the Keep. They both would tell Stranger, if asked, of how four of Britannia’s major cities followed the principle of Truth, and how, more generally, there existed eight combinations of the Three Principles and that the eight great settlements of the realm reflected them.[1]

NES remake.
- In the Nintendo remake of Ultima IV (where most character names were omitted and dialogue was significantly modified), Jon can be identified with the man in blue in the telescope room, who gives similar information about the relationship between virtues and principles.[2]
