Jean Paul (or Jean-Paul) is the owner of the tavern in Yew in Ultima IX.
Description[edit]
Prior to the Avatar's arrival, an intoxicated patron had injured himself and accused Jean-Paul of negligence. Thanks to the corruption of the court, he was sentenced to death in a mock trial, while the Avatar watched the exchange between him and the judge, Grey.[1]
The Avatar later found him in prison, awaiting his execution, and could choose to free him.
