Forum:War Bow of Blood

I am playing Ultima IX now for about the fifth time. Every time a little bit different. A problem that I always encounter: I cannot get the War Bow of Blood. The quest with Jordan seems to be broken. The shipwreck never appears, not before and not after finishing dungeon Destard. I just could say that this is a bug and it can't be helped. But strangely besides myself only a few players seem to have the same problems. Even the videos on Youtube show the shipwreck. Is there a specific way I just don't know to make the shipwreck appear (finishing Destard, reading the jordans diary, taking jordans diary, talking to his mother in Britain with and without the diary ... nothing helped)? Or is there something I must not do?

Well, after I have played the game seven times an never got the shipwreck, I've given up. But it's okay. Tha last time i have finally played with the economy/monster/dialogue patch an there I could buy the war bow of blood. Oh, and the story is SOOOOO much better than the original. In fact it's so good that I decided for myself that this is the true ending story of the series.--GSandSDS 22:45, 6 July 2011 (MET)
