Byron is a brigand in Moonglow in Ultima IX.

The Avatar met Byron southeast of Moonglow in a small cave with Richter, a cave which was only reachable after agreeing to return the Staff of Wisdom to Tydus. Byron was a man of few words, and only threatened the Avatar before attempting to kill him with his staff. Duncan's dagger could be found amongst his possessions. Byron, along with the brigand Ella, guarded the Arms of the Magi.[1]
