The ankh constellation is a star constellation in the skies of Britannia.
Description[edit]
The constellation is seen at the very end of Ultima IX after the ascension of the Avatar. It is a constellation of 25 stars in the Britannian night sky that forms the symbol of virtue and Spirituality, the ankh (in the picture made more prominent by an overlay of an ankh). It is however unknown if the ascension of the Avatar created this constellation (such is implied), or if the constellation had always been there and had played a role in the spiritual beliefs of Britannia.
Trivia[edit]
- One other constellation mentioned in the Journal is the Hammer of Tulur, which originally guided ships north, but due to the columns, now east.
- The constellation serves as the background for the Ultima IX credits.
