Wilbur is a stablekeeper in Britain in Ultima VI.
Description[edit]
Employed in the stables in Britain, Wilbur was an extremely nervous man who was easily frightened. He was uncomfortable with the idea of a talking horse, and dismissed Smith as a mere fantasy.[1]
The Ultima 6 Project[edit]
This is an Ultima 6 Project-related NPC article or section. The information within may not apply to Ultima VI or other Ultima games.
In The Ultima 6 Project, Wilbur had no horses to sell, for they had all been promised to Lord British for the war effort. When asked about Smith, Wilbur admitted to running into the creature, but much like the other party members, felt him to be a prattling annoyance.
Goods[edit]
Wilbur made the following offer in Ultima VI:[2]
Goods | Cost (gp) | |
---|---|---|
Horses | 75 |
Trivia[edit]
- Wilbur is most likely named after Wilbur Post from the television series Mister Ed, which featured a troublemaking palomino who would only speak to Wilbur.
