Hi! My name is Blair Leggett and I'm an Ultima addict... (hi Blair). I'm not really a dragon... although if I was I would pick the name 'Flashy' Dragon. ;)
I was an out-of-work game programmer looking for a job but then I said to hell with it and decided to make an online game to show off my skills as a programmer.
I decided to make Ultima 4, and have had the most rewarding three months of my life. Every day I would wake up, check job postings--nope nothing new--and then go to work on my Ultima game. It gave me a reason to bound outta bed in the morning... and would usually keep me going till VERY LATE at night.
