Why Hello There[edit]
Hello there. I am TigerBlazer from the Miraheze Reception Wikis, best known for being an administrator on some of those wikis and making the largest page on the Awesome Games Wiki dedicated to the Wing Commander series (I'm even working on a page for the Ultima series on thos wikis). I came to contribute to this wiki because I like Ultima and I love to contribute to wikis. While I don't love Ultima as much as Wing Commander (Which is my favorite game series), I have much fun playing the Ultima games, especially the oldest titles.
I first played an Ultima game on a game website called playminigames.com or something like that. The game I played was Akalabeth and I soon got into CRPGs and Ultima after that. I have since replayed that game many times, and even had an excellent run in it (I became lizardman three times in a row somehow (I was playing as a mage) and got huge stats and was able to kill Balrogs in a single hit.)
My favorite Ultima games are Akalabeth, Ultima I, and Ultima IV, in case you were wondering. I play them using a DOS emulator called D-Fend Reloaded, although I also own the GOG.com copies. You can talk to me about anything you want in the discussion section. Recently, I got Ultima Underworld I + II from a GOG.com free giveaway, so I will begin playing those soon too (They are some of the only ones I have never played.).
Likes: Video games like Wing Commander, Wasteland, Mother, Undertale, and Ultima IV. Franchises like Star Wars and Star Trek, Movies like WALL-E, Isle of Dogs, Tron, Avengers: Endgame, hanging out with my real life friends, reading, editing and administrating wikis, bands like Pink Floyd, Queen, and Metallica, eating food, going outside, school, my friends on the wikis I use like King Dice, Allistayrian, MarioMario456, and Uniblab.
Dislikes: Alex Kidd in the Enchanted Castle, Depression Quest, The Cat in the Hat (2003), using physical strength, lasugna, most anime, internet trolls and wiki vandals (Though some of their edits can be funny).
Update: I haven't been working here much lately, because some terrible things happened on the wikis I administrate, but I will come here and edit when I have free time.
The Virtue I Embody the Most...[edit]
Everytime I play a new game of Ultima IV, I am asked the seven questions and everytime, I become a Ranger class. Rangers embody the virtue of Spirituality and honestly, that makes the most sense for me. I have always been a spiritual person and usually follow what my heart wants me to do before I do it.

My Progress Through Ultima IV[edit]
Recently, I have started my journey into finishing Ultima IV. I am going to post my progress on the game here. I am playing as a Ranger.
Currently, I stopped playing just outside the town of Paws. I have reached level 4 with my only current companion, Iolo, at level 3. He only has cloth and a sling right now, but once I get enough gold I will buy him a bow and leather armor. My ranger, however, already has a sword and leather armor. I have found the Justice stone from the Yew jail and mediated for three cycles at the Justice shrine. I have learned the mantras of OM, RA, and BEH currently. I have my own ship, although it is very weak and doesn't have any weapons. I will continue you my progress tommorow. However, due to my parents rules on game playing I can only play on weekends, so this will take a while to complete.
Part 2[edit]
I journeyed to the city of Trinsic today and was told by a friendly NPC where the shrine is. however, I couldn't find anybody who knew the mantra. Maybe I wasn't looking hard enough? Anyway, I also found a moongate that sent me nearby a new town called Moonglow, where I was told where to find the stone of honesty. I might get to the dungeon of Deceit later to find it, if I can find it. I already know where the one for Covetous is, but I'm not sure what I need for that. However, I retrieved a mage named Mariah who seemed quite delighted to join me on my quest for virtue. I moongate came up again, and I found myself back at Lord British's castle. I still need to learn how the moon phases in this game mean for the moongates, because i find it somewhat confusing.
Side note: On the subject of Britannia in general, there seem to be way to many humans here. I mean, in the past three games, we had other creatures like elves and dwarves too. Was Lord British's ideal new land one where all there was a mass genocide of the fuzzies to make the world "pure"? That would explain a lot of things.
I managed to find my way back to Trinsic and just asked every inhabitant there and in other parts of the world, even the ones hidden in the bushes of Trinisic, what the mantra was and eventually found the rune I need from a little boy who got chased by a bull or something (I killed the bull, and was then attacked by a bunch of guards, forcng me to CTRL-ALT-DELETE out of the game and re-enter). I reached the shrine and mediated for three cycles, and them found my way back to Castle Britain and asked Hawkwind of my progress. Here was the dialogue I got:
- Honesty: "Thou hast made little progress on the paths of Honesty. Strive to prove thy worth!" (Hmmmm, don't know how to fix that.)
- Compassion: "Thou dost show thy compassion well. Continued good will should be thy guide!" (Makes sense. I give money to any beggar I see.)
- Valor: "Thou art showing Valor in the face of danger. Strive to become yet more so!" (I have fleed a fight only once.)
- Justice: "Thou hast not proven thyself to be just. Strive to do justice unto all things!" (Really? I did the shrine didn't I?)
- Sacrifice: "Thy sacrifice is small. Give of thy life's blood so that others may live." (Also don't know how to help this one.)
- Honor: "Thou dost need to show thyself to be more honorable. The path lies before thee!" (I have been doing what I have been told to do by people so I'm not surprised hre.)
- Spirituality: "Thou art doing well on the path to inner sight continue to seek the inner light." (I've been meditating for as long as possible at shrines.)
- Humility: "Thou dost seem a humble soul. Thou art setting strong stones to build virtues upon!" (I'm not sure how to raise or lower this other than speaking honestly. I guess that's working.)
I don't know whether any of this is good or not, but I seem to be doing well in at least half of the virtues.
Somehow, I also found a secret entrance to Lord British's treasure room and found the rune of Spirituality. Now I just have to find the shrine. I managed to get my soon to be Avatar to level 5 and I'm just grinding now to get my party up to my level. I also lerned that I can give my blood to help others in this game when I have high health. I figured this can give at least one of my Virtues a raise so I donated blood twice. However, I learned I couldn't do it once I am at a certain level of health, so I found a cool trick where I hole up and make camp afterword, donate blood again, make camp again, give blood, and repeat a few times. I kept doing this untill my status on the Sacrifice virtue said this: "Thou art just and fair. Seek ye now the Elevation!" I'm guessing that's a good thing.
One thing I decided to do is to go to the dungeon of Deceit. I was told by an NPC in the game that an object called the stone of honesty is found within it. It took me quite a long time to get there, as I was wondering aimlessly to find it, but I managed to get their without getting into any fights. I descended down to the second floor and stopped to save my game. I quit it to take a break, since I need one.
