The Twin Gates are two mages living in Vesper during Ultima IV.
Description[edit]
The two tall magicians appeared and acted identical to one another, and both would give their salutations to the Stranger as they welcomed the aspirant to their village.[1]
Trivia[edit]
- In the Nintendo remake of Ultima IV (where most character names were omitted and dialogue was significantly modified), one of Twin Gates can be identified with the mage in the same location, who similarly welcomes the Stranger to Vesper, claiming it to be a "city at the end of the world".[2]
- In a document discovered by historians Robert De Main and Carlotta Stein that purports to be the Avatar’s's personal diary, the Twin Gates are described as tall, bearded men, garbed in robes and sitting upon a double throne.[3]
