Thomas is tinker who may be found at Empath Abbey during Ultima IV.
Description[edit]
The hearty Thomas stood in contemplation within the abbey's Oak Grove, considering the part Love played in the virtue of Sacrifice. He would tell the Stranger that the Love of others combined with the Courage to face death on their behalf is what created self-sacrifice, and would encourage the hero to join him in his meditation.[1]

NES remake
- In the Nintendo remake of Ultima IV (where most character names were omitted and dialogue was significantly modified), Thomas can be identified as the tinker in the same location who gives the same information.[2]
