Template talk:LoreQuoteIcon

I created this template because I wanted to add an icon to LoreQuote but it was tricky to get everything lined up right. And so many pages use LoreQuote, if I mess it up I don't have time to check all the pages. So for now I've just created a new one and I'll roll-back the changes I made to the other one. The big features of this one are that it puts an icon to the left of the quote - good to put an image of the book you are quoting or a portrait of the charater, etc, and secondly that it wraps text nicely around right floating images. I didn't like how the old one with a long quote gets narrow and then you have to scroll down to read it. Only problem is that this one doesn't tolerate left floating images. But that's ok, if you're using this one it's to put icons on the left and you shouldn't need other images over there anyway.

Anyway, try it out and tell me what you think. More importantly tell me if it's breaking anything. I've only checked it here on my Windows Chrome and Android Chrome. --Sir Robin (talk) 23:12, 10 May 2025 (MDT)
