Guild Shop Naming[edit]
I'm not sure how to approach this. There are several Guild Shops. In U4, there are two Guild Shops, with no specific names, one in Vesper and another in Bucaneer's Den. In U3, there are several Guild Shops. I'm not sure of the names, if any, of Guild Shops in U5 and 6. But using "The Guild Shop" to refer only to the one in Vesper in U4 is a little misleading. Options I can think of:
- Rename the article to "The Guild Shop (Vesper)", and do the same with other future articles
- Put the information on all the guild shops in U4 in this article, maybe renaming it to "The Guild Shop (U4)", and do the same with another article for the U3 ones
- Use this article to put the information on ALL the not-named guild shops.

- I think "The Guild Shop" should probably be made into a Disambiguation Page. From there, lost visitors can find their way to any/all Guild Shops with similar names. --Polygoncount 04:24, June 10, 2010 (UTC)
- HEY! I just made a years-old connection! The U4 manual says "The Thieves' Guild has been essentially driven out of Britannia, but rumors persist of its existence somewhere in the ocean, perhaps on one of the uncharted islands. Somehow, the Guild maintains contact with the mainland, perhaps through the brazen pirates." So I think the unnamed Vesper-Buccaneer's Den guilds are supposed to be "related." - Well, if it helps at all they do have specific names in U4 the guild shop in Vesper is called "The Guild Shop" the guild shop in Buccaneer's Den us called "Pirate's Guild". See File:One_Eyed_Willey.png and File:Long John Leary.png. I just checked and at least the Buccaneer's Den guild shop in Ultima 5 has a name (The Nemesis). There may be some other conflicts but I feel that your third option is the best but instead of using this article's name use "Guild Shops" instead. P.S. - Hrm, I may take some of it back. Seems like Guild of Thieves is covering a lot of what Guild Shops would be covering. Maybe it should redirect or the info in Guild of Thieves should be split out. -- Fenyx4 05:30, June 10, 2010 (UTC)
- I think splitting the info in the Guild of Thieves article would be best. Right now it's only there because it had no other place to be in.--Sega381 15:32, June 10, 2010 (UTC)
