Terilem, I can understand removing trivia when it is purely speculative musings, but in the case of mentioning a fan mod, it it necessary to remove it? I thought it was agreed upon here that mentioning fan mods and fan works was considered acceptable as long as them are labelled as such. Heck, we have a huge section just for U5: Lazarus. - Well, hmm... more like a fan mod for a fan mod. How many layers deep before it becomes irrelevant to the original game? The obscurity of the wording also played a part in my removing it. Your point about Lazarus is well taken though. If you find the deletion particularly objectionable, feel free to restore it. --Terilem 11:33, September 23, 2010 (UTC)
- I agree, the wording was poor. I'm going to restore it, but I'll reword it appropriately. Very good work on the rest of it, though. Dungy 11:45, September 23, 2010 (UTC)
- In my opinion, fan mods are well worth mentioning - if a proper name, source and a link to them can be provided. "A fan mod" does not qualify as relevant trivia in my eyes. --Warder Dragon 11:57, September 23, 2010 (UTC)
- I agree with both of you. I reworded the section to now provide a link to the mod and a link to Exult, and it now explains the nature of the mod. Dungy 12:00, September 23, 2010 (UTC)
- Wait a sec, I interpreted the original trivia to mean that the mod gives you the option to restore the shrine in-game. The way you've written it now makes it sound like it's that way by default. Which is the case? --Terilem 12:05, September 23, 2010 (UTC)
- Nevermind, I read the Keyring Mod article and it does sound like it's handled through a quest or some such. I made this more clear in the wording of the trivia. --Terilem 12:25, September 23, 2010 (UTC)
- I just checked it out. The way it works, is in the original, the Shrine of Sacrifice looks as you see in the picture of the article. With the mod, the shrine is changed to more resemble the shrine from Ultima VI, but it is still corrupted. You still have to fix it up. Dungy 12:53, September 23, 2010 (UTC)
