Ultima V or Ultima VI? Why would Selganor be on the Ultima V box? Dungy 14:49, 14 October 2011 (PDT)
- I just checked and I did not see him on the back of the IBM-PC version of V or VI. But I did see him on the screenshots for V on the back on the Second trilogy box. (I'm not 100% sure my Ultima V is a PC version.)
- It is possible that Selganor was a character name of someone at Origin (who took the screenshots) and that person's name later ended up in game. -- Fenyx4 22:42, 14 October 2011 (PDT)
- Just found this [1]. Hard to see but that does look like Selganor. -- Fenyx4 22:45, 14 October 2011 (PDT)
- The trivia comes from my own original U5 box, which is most definitely the PC version and far more legible than in that photo. Looks like it was an alias of someone at Origin, whom the U6 character was named after. --Terilem 00:36, 15 October 2011 (PDT)
- On the Microprose release of the C64 version, the Avatar's name is British, but on the Mindscape release on the Amiga, which uses the same box as the PC version, the Avatar's name is Selganor. --Warder Dragon 04:13, 15 October 2011 (PDT)
