Too much Speculation ?[edit]

The parts about the Zealan Shield and the Morphing Cube feels too "speculaty". Just because Mythran has a Zealan Shield doesn't mean he is one... if anything considering Mythran is very much a scholar who like to learn stuff about everything, I'd argue it make more sense to think it a piece of collection for him.

Regarding the morphing cube.... considering all it does is repaeating teh symbols of the EA Logo, I've always wondered if it was not just meant to be some easter. Pagan gets way too much speculation in the "it MUST have been a plot cut" category IMO. --Sergorn 06:02, October 14, 2010 (UTC)

Agreed on both of these counts. The EA cubes especially seem awfully Easter Eggish to me. Dungy 10:04, October 14, 2010 (UTC)
No arguments here, either. It's like saying the cheerleader room on Serpent Isle is evidence of a plot cut where the Ophidians had a love of American football. --Terilem 10:29, October 14, 2010 (UTC)
Allrighty, I removed both. Since I'm replaying Pagan now I'll probably check pages related to it to see if anything sounds ood to me. --Sergorn 13:03, October 14, 2010 (UTC)
At least for the morphing object, I don't see it as a Easter Egg, originally. Of course it is that now in current game. EA objects were part of plot in Ultima VII, so what would prevent them from originally being part of U8 too? Clicking on it gives a rather nice comment. And considering how much stuff Origin had to cut from the game to ship it on time, I wouldn't be surprised how much, along with that, was cut and original plot elements turned into something else. Morphing cube trivia[edit]

Looking at the discussion above, wasn't this already removed previously for being too speculative? --Terilem 09:09, 11 December 2011 (PST)

I was thinking the same thing. i think it is what it is.. an EA gimmick. Anything more than that is pure speculation. This is dungy. 68.186.232.136 11:11, 11 December 2011 (PST)
Agreed. Trimmed it down to only mention the EA logo. --Terilem 11:50, 11 December 2011 (PST)
