Pirate[edit]
According to Notable Ultima he is a thug, was on a ship and was headed to Buccaneer's Den, but that's all I could find. AngusM 04:36, May 23, 2010 (UTC)
Spat with Sintag[edit]
The dialogue in Notable Ultima is very confusing. Take a look at this: (is there a tag for quotes?)
Buccaneer's Den "We ran into some misfortune the last time we were there. The Mister at the House of Games learnedof Master Robin's system and caused him to lose much of his gold." system "He had devised a clever method of cheating at all the various games at the House of Chance. It had earned him several times his weight in gold coins, I am certain." The Mister "When Master Robin could not pay his debts, The Mister sent his legbreaker, Sintag, and his knaves after us. We had to leave on the first ship out of Buccaneer's Den. I do not know why he is called 'The Mister'." Sintag "Battles and myself are more than capable of taking care of Sintag..." (Battles) "Yeh, thou art bloody right we coulda handled him! We'd a slit him like a sheep! Har!" "But Gordy had hired a troupe of ruffians to chase after us. 'Tis a pity. I would have liked to teach him a lesson or two. In fact, one day I think I shall."
It's not clear who was cheating, if someone was caught, who owed who, and so on. In any case, what's in the article doesn't look right. AngusM 04:36, May 23, 2010 (UTC)
- There doesn't seem to be any reason to question whether Robin was the one cheating; it's made clear several times in the dialogue that he's the gambler and Leavell and Battles are just hired muscle. What I can't find anything about is the part about how Leavell and Battles "held back Sintag," and I also take issue with the implication that Sintag was the one who caught onto the scam. Gordy, aka The Mister, was the one who made the accusation and sent Sintag and his ruffians after them all. --Terilem 06:28, May 23, 2010 (UTC)
- Hmm... yes, it seems that Robin was cheating. My confusion over that was the use of the word "system" which does not imply cheating. The word "cheating" does come out though. I think everything else needs rewrit though. AngusM 19:23, May 25, 2010 (UTC)
