Talk:Killorn Keep

I don't know if this has been debated elsewhere, but I'm not comfortable with the idea of having Atarka used as the "official" term for Killorn Keep's world. It's okay to have a page for Atarka, but it should be kept separate and Killorn Keep should have its proper and be listed as "Killorn Keep" in the UW2 world instead of this name. This is the same with all the references to Killorn Keep in other pages which are all listed at Atarka - it really irks me.

I'm all for fan works to be represented and mentioned, but it shouldn't take precedance over official stuff - it'd be like considering Lazarus content as official over Ultima 5 : I love Lazarus but it has to be kept separate. I certainly have a lot of respect for SoL's talent... but it's still a fan invention there.

I'd also contest the fact that the name has been "widely accepted by fans of the Ultima series". A lot of fans don't read fan-fictions, so this probably wouldn't even ring a bell to many. Hell I'm long-time fan, and I'd never even heard of the word "Atarka" before seeing the terme in the early Ultima IX Redemptions news and I thought it had be coined by Avatus then. Just my two cents. We're discussing it over at Forum:Atarka, it's one of those leftovers from the olden days we're going to clean up. It's perfect for Trivia, but shouldn't be included in main articles. --Warder Dragon 18:08, July 1, 2010 (UTC)
