Talk:Blood moss

Anyone have any theories on how this stuff went from agricultural pest that needs light in IV to something that grows under tree bark? Maybe the farmers were using blood for fertilizer at the time and inadvertently attracted the stuff. Maybe somebody just forget to read all the old manuals.

I don't consider this nitpick entirely frivolous as the IV text is the only one that explains WHY it associated with mobility but it is the most different from all the others.

I think they just were too good in trying to get rid of this danger to the crops, resulting in it becoming difficult to find.--Tribun 13:27, 10 January 2011 (PST)
