Runekeeper is a Talorid whose function is to produce Rune Stones on Talorus. It appears in Ultima Underworld II.
Description[edit]
Runekeeper was exemplary of the compartmentalization of Talorian society after making contact with the Guardian. Skupped only to produce "Kal" rune stones, the Talorid had no knowledge as to where its handiwork was headed or what it was being used for, believing simply that the manufacture of runes was part of some abstract benefit to all. It would therefore allow the Avatar to partake freely of its wares, possessing no inking of the concept of theft.[1]

The Runekeeper is in charge of all runes produced in this area, which are largely Kal runes, but include the occasional Corp stone as well.

- Some of the runes created by Runekeeper have been misprinted, and thus function as "Corp" rune stones rather than "Kal" rune stones.
