Peacemaking

Peacemaking is one of the three skills of a Bard in Ultima Online they can use after learning Musicianship. When used right, it can cause creatures (and players) to stop fighting for some time and is therefore the opposite to Provocation. Peacemaking has two modes, area, in which the fighting in an area is stopped, and targeted, when one creature is selected to become peaceful until the player leaves or it is attacked.

Every creature also has a barding difficulty, which can be see with the skill Animal Lore.

Training

Like the other two bard skills, this one can first be trained up to 40 points in New Haven, before other methods have to be found to advance further. A trick to gain quickly is to buy numerous music instruments, and then use the skill on yourself repeatedly to fast gain points.
