Patric the Humble Shepherd is shepherd living in Moonglow during Ultima IV.
Description[edit]
A meek man who nevertheless felt it necessary to announce himself as "the humble shepherd", Patric could be found loitering near the Healer and the Sage Deli. He could speak to the Stranger of Humility's composition as a Virtue, describing how it existed separately from Truth, Love or Courage. He would also ask if the hero were a totally humble creature and would deliver admonitions if claiming to have attained such perfection.[1]

- A humble answer to Patric's question raises Humility by 5 points, a proud answer lowers it by 5.
- In the Nintendo remake of Ultima IV (where most character names were omitted and dialogue was significantly modified), Patric can be identified with a shepherd in Cove, who gives the same information about Humility and the Principles.[2]
