Location: Killorn Keep

Ogri is the steward of Killorn Keep. He appears in Ultima Underworld II.

Description[edit]

Ogri was the son of Igro, the steward who had tended to Killorn Keep when it still stood on the ground, and as such he knew more of its secrets than any other person who dwelt within. While he had been sworn to secrecy regarding their existence, he had knowledge of the fantastical creatures which kept the castle aloft, and quietly insinuated that Killorn had been fashioned as a prison to keep them contained.

Being a sentimental antiquarian, Ogri would often lament the loss of the Killorn Banner during the Praecor Loth campaign, and would prove willing to divulge the truth of the keep's inner working should somebody return the artifact to his care. If the Avatar managed to retrieve the standard from Loth's tomb, Ogri would willingly tell the hero not only of those who kept Killorn Keep aloft, but also how and where to find them.[1]

Lore[edit]

Ogri, the chief servant of the keep, may be the oldest man I have ever met. He is an eccentric, to be sure, but he remembers things, about the keep and the history of our world, that took place before I or my mother were even born! His loyalty is not to the Guardian or Lord Thibris, but to the Keep itself, for his family line served the Keep's masters before ever the Guardian arrived on this world.

Trivia[edit]

  • Ogri is the only person who can provide training in the Lore skill after Nelson's death.
