Description[edit]
Merdaunt is a village at the mouth of the mountain river flowing from Lock Lake. The village is comprised of stilt houses rising from the brackish water of the bay. The village is known for being the place to hire flat-bottomed reed skiffs to ferry passengers upriver to the lake, and the village of Cove.
When the mountains shifted following the raising of the Codex, it likely that the town of Merdaunt was destroyed. Now that Cove was accessible by land, the town's principal form of income no longer existed, so the village was probably abandoned.
