Ley is a peasant in Skara Brae in Ultima V: Lazarus.
An rude and uneducated man, Ley raised chickens and pigs for the people of Skara Brae, but felt they all looked down on him because of his profession. He often sold feathers to Heron for fletching, and poultry to Tamethe to feed her customers, and frequently did business with The Haunting Inn, where he ate for free in exchange for providing supplies, and got the remaining scraps for his pigs. Ley often took his prize pig Daisy across the Misty Channel to the edge of the Spiritwood to hunt for truffles, or to the foothills in the north where he felt more at peace.[1]
In his youth, Ley had tried out to be a ranger, but Heron felt him not good enough for the role. Still, he didn't hold a grudge against the captain, believing him to be a good man who didn't look down on him for being a farmer.
