Lennon
Lennon [レノン] is one of the protagonists of Seiji Tanaka's 1988 Ultima-inspired manga, Ultima: The Terror of Exodus.
Description[edit]
Lennon, a bard, was tasked by the dying Lord Sattava with watching over Aida - a mission which he took very seriously. Frequently chiding the cleric for the danger which the young mystic places herself in, Lennon constantly worried that his charge would come to harm, and often butted heads with the far more impetuous Genji over his actions regarding her. Comically, the musician more often than not found himself in the company of the machine, Bigelow, rather than that of the woman he had vowed to protect.
Thinking himself destined for a supporting role in the unfolding quest, Lennon was surprised to find that he bore the Mark of the Dragon upon his hand and became destined to fight as one of the four warriors of prophecy.[1] Lennon's "seal," bestowed upon him in Ambrosia, took the form of a Silver Horn which he sounded at the Devil's Gates, that the passage to Castle Death might be laid open.[2]
