Lars is a merchant in Serpent's Hold in Ultima V: Lazarus.
Unique to Serpent's Hold, Lars was the only inhabitant of the island who was not proficient in the ways of war. In his past, he had been a bit of an adventurer, having traveled to the Spiritwood and Buccaneer's Den. Lars noted that Blackthorn's blockade had been poor for his business, and he was only able to stock the most basic supplies at inflated prices. He hoped the Avatar would soon be able to put an end to the Oppression's siege of the keep.[1]
